Preparation of the cookie dough

1- To make the cookie dough, add the liquid ingredients to the container containing the flour, salt and yeast mixture.

2- Mix with a wooden spoon. Don't worry if the dough seems very sticky, it is this texture that gives the matcha and white chocolate chip cookies their softness. Sift in the matcha green tea.

Did you know that?

Matcha tea is a very fine tea powder of bright green color obtained by grinding the young leaves of green tencha tea.

According to the traditional Japanese method, the young tea shoots are hand-picked, dried and slowly ground on a stone millstone.
