Flying Spirit: A Great Air Show In Biscarrosse
This weekend, aviation enthusiasts and fans of legendary aircraft will meet in Biscarrosse for the inaugural edition of Flying Spirit. This event, organized by BLEUCIEL AIRSHOW, will give the public a dive into the history of aviation with the participation of both classic and modern iconic planes. A new appointment
A beacon city in the world of seaplanes, Biscarrosse hosted a benchmark event in this field until 2012: the International Seaplane Gathering.
In 2016, a new event will be born, following on from this gathering. Renamed Flying Spirit, this international aeronautical event will be free and focused on a single day.
This new meeting organized by BLEUCIEL AIRSHOW will highlight the aeronautical heritage of the city of Biscarrosse.
Throughout the day, different scenes will unfold in the sky in a festive atmosphere to trace the history of aviation!
2025 Edition
Biscarrosse, the French capital of seaplane aviation, welcomes the International Seaplane Gathering on Saturday, May 31, 2025, and Sunday, June 1, 2025.

Saturday:
10:00 AM: Opening of the event site
10:30 – 11:30 AM: Historical conference led by François Clément on the emergence of hull seaplanes
11:00 AM – 6:30 PM: Children's art workshop (open access throughout)
11:30 – 12:00 PM: Heritage conference: The reconstruction of a Latécoère 28-3, presented by Alain Gaboriaud
12:00 PM: Poetic walkabout with the stilt walkers from Les Hérons du Lac association
11:45 AM – 1:30 PM: Two-part concert by La Banda 7 (11:45-12:30 then 12:45-1:30)
1:30 – 6:45 PM: Major air show with various demonstrations and take-offs
6:45 – 7:00 PM: Autograph session with the pilots
7:00 – 9:00 PM: Musical atmosphere with the concert by We Funk
9:30 PM: Sunset air show
10:00 PM: Illuminated drone show
10:15 PM: Festive closing with fireworks

The International Seaplane Gathering will take place on May 31 and June 1, 2025, at the Biscarrosse hydrobase (Latécoère site).

Buses will run continuously to make access easier:
Saturday: from 9:30 am to 11:00 pm
Sunday: from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm
Stops served: Bus station, Arcanson, St Exupéry
Free parking, with 3000 spaces available in the city center
