Summer Nights 2026 In Mouans-sartoux: Five Fridays For Outdoor Music

Five Fridays in July to (re)discover the pleasure of outdoor concerts, from jazz to folk to Indian music, in the heart of the Mouans-Sartoux castle park.

A bucolic and focused festival

The 36th Summer Nights take over the park of the Mouans-Sartoux castle for five Fridays in July, every evening at 9:00 PM. It's an opportunity to enjoy a diverse program, featuring groups and artists from very different backgrounds, all in a setting that evokes summer and long evenings.

The concerts are organized by APAC and take place in the castle park (yes, outdoors, so bring a light sweater if the evening gets chilly).

The program in brief

  • Friday, July 3 at 9 PM: ANATOLE SEPTET, jazz. A septet that navigates between swing, Latino, funk, bebop, and bossa. Free show, offered by the Departmental Council.

  • Friday, July 10 at 9 PM: ROBERTO GERVASI TRIO, "My Jazzy Accordion". Accordion, double bass, and drums to place the accordion back in the living tradition of jazz and bebop aesthetics.

  • Friday, July 17 at 9 PM: MATT ELLIOTT, folk, blues, Eastern European music. Songwriting that blends delicacy, nostalgia, and hope.

  • Friday, July 24 at 9 PM: RISHAB PRASANNA & MOSIN KAWA, Indian music (bansuri flute & tabla). "Night Ragas on the Bansuri Flute": improvisation and dialogues between flute and tabla.

  • Friday, July 31 at 9 PM: SANDRA NKAKÉ TRIO (ELLES), jazz. A tribute concert to female composers and artists, accompanied by a flute and a cello.

A first evening offered (and it feels good)

The opening concert, Anatole Septet, is announced as free and sponsored by the Departmental Council.

It's a good excuse to discover the series without stress and to experience the mix of styles promised by the group: swing, Latino, funk, bebop, bossa... In short, a rather eclectic program to kick off the season.

Meetings in the colors of the world

The programming embraces international tones: from the Italian jazz accordion of the Roberto Gervasi Trio to the ragas of the bansuri flute with Rishab Prasanna, not to mention the melancholic folk of Matt Elliott and the tribute jazz led by Sandra Nkaké.

We move from one universe to another without leaving the same park, which, let's agree, simplifies logistics (and desires: you can stay for two dates if you feel like it).

Ticketing and practical rates

Tickets are on sale in presale for €10 (excluding handling fees) and for €12 on site.

Entry is free for children under 12 years old. Tickets can be purchased online on the festival's website (address mentioned in the communication) or at Mouans Accueil Informations.

On performance nights, a box office is open on site starting at 8:30 PM.

Practical information: location, contacts, and accessibility

All concerts take place in the park of the Château de Mouans-Sartoux, Place Suzanne de Villeneuve.

For any questions or information: Mouans Accueil Informations, phone: 04 22 10 54 54, and [email protected]. The festival specifies access for people with reduced mobility.

Come without hassle (car, train, bus)

Several options are available to reach the castle. By car, several free parking lots are just a few minutes' walk away: the Château parking lot (2 min, 245 spaces), the Gare parking lot (6 min, 150 spaces), and the Cinéma parking lot (6 min, 40 spaces). By train, the Mouans-Sartoux station is a 6-minute walk from the castle, with last train schedules to Cannes and Grasse provided for the evenings. By bus, the Sillage A and E lines, Palm bus B, and the Zou! 653 and 660 lines serve the "Mouans-Sartoux Centre" stop, about a 5-minute walk from the castle.

And the balls? The musette continues.

Alongside the Friday concerts, the musette ball takes place every Saturday in July and August, from July 4 to August 29, from 9 PM to midnight at the Church Square.

Free entry, a lovely way to extend the summer with an open dance floor and tunes that invite you to dance until nightfall.

Some insights on the artists (to get into the mood)

Some details in the programming help to situate the proposals: Roberto Gervasi presents a project called "My Jazzy Accordion" and is rooted in the bebop aesthetic inherited from great figures of jazz.

Rishab Prasanna offers "Night Ragas on Bansuri flute" and plays accompanied by a tabla. Sandra Nkaké, mentioned as a figure in the French soul scene and winner of a Victoire du Jazz, presents a concert in tribute to the female composers and artists who inspire her.

Note Well

Bansuri: bamboo transverse flute used in Indian music, often associated with ragas and improvisation.

Tabla: pair of drums in Indian music, used to accompany and interact with melodic instruments.

(short notes, to better listen when the music starts.)

In conclusion

Five Fridays, traveling styles, a castle park as a backdrop, that's the essence. Whether you're drawn to jazz, folk, or the sounds of India, there's plenty to compose your evenings.

Be sure to check the ticketing details and the indicated schedules if you plan to come by train or bus. And above all: enjoy the music, outdoors, under the stars (or almost).
