Homemade Baked Wedges: A Very Easy Recipe.
If you like the "potatoes" from a famous fast food chain, know that it is very simple to prepare this type of potato or potato wedges yourself. We offer you to discover in pictures an easy recipe for homemade oven wedges.
Here are the necessary ingredients to prepare homemade oven-baked wedges for 4 people:
1 kilogram of potatoes
half a teaspoon of fine salt
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of oregano
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
3 tablespoons of olive oil
Note: The particularity of these potato wedges is that they are cooked with the skin on, so I recommend using organic potatoes or untreated potatoes from your garden. Select potatoes of the same size as much as possible, so that the oven-baked wedges cook more evenly.
The recipe for homemade oven wedges is rather quick to prepare since it is unnecessary to peel the potatoes. If, like me, you use new potatoes that you have just harvested from your garden, you must of course wash them carefully before cutting them into wedges, that is to say, into quarters.
1- Soak the potatoes in a basin of clear water to remove most of the dirt.
2- Then brush them under a stream of running water with a hard-bristled brush like your dish brush.
Cutting homemade wedges

If you're using small potatoes, simply cut them in half and then in half again. 1- Preheat your oven to 200°C.
