Oqee By Free: Everything You Need To Know About The Tv Application Offered To Freebox Revolution Subscribers

The operator Free has just announced good news for holders of a Freebox Revolution. Since March 8, these subscribers can take advantage of the Oqee TV application for free and access all the channels of their Freebox offer on the move and without extra cost. Explanations.

1- Who is concerned?

Good news for the many customers with a Freebox Revolution!

On Tuesday, March 8, 2022, operator Free announced that its Oqee TV app is now included in the Freebox Revolution offer for both new and existing customers.

Nearly half of Free's fixed subscribers would be affected by this novelty offered by the operator without any additional cost.

2- What is the Oqee application?

Oqee is the TV application of the operator Free.

It now allows Freebox Revolution subscribers to enjoy for free the 220 channels included in their offer outside their homes.

In other words, OQEE by Free lets you access all your programs wherever you are.

3- What changes?

Until now, Freebox Revolution subscribers had to have the multi-TV Player Pop or an Apple TV to enjoy this mobile TV application.

After having made the Pop and Delta Pop customers benefit from it, the operator Free opens its Oqee TV application to more subscribers.

4- What devices is it compatible with?

The application allows you to enjoy the 220 channels of your Freebox Revolution offer:
- on your smartphone whether it is an iPhone or an Android smartphone
- on a tablet whether it runs on iOs or Android
- on a connected TV.

The Oqee TV app is compatible with Apple TV but also with Samsung Smart TVs and Sony, Xiaomi and Oneplus TVs running Android 8 or higher.

5- How does it work?

Simply download the Oqee app on your device and log in with your Free credentials to enjoy all the channels of the Freebox Revolution offer away from home.

The interface of this mobile application is very simple. The first screen you access is the live screen.

The menu at the bottom of the screen then allows you to switch from live to videos recommended for you, to the search function, to replay and recordings.

Good news for large families, it is possible to enjoy not less than 5 simultaneous connections!

The app also allows you to manage different user profiles. You can create a different profile for each family member to get personalized recommendations and have the ability to pick up videos (replay in particular) where you left them.

OQEE also allows you to enjoy advanced features like on your Freebox, including:
- live control allowing you to pause a program and rewind as you wish.
- the start over which allows you to catch the beginning of a program being broadcast without having recorded it
- the replay
- the possibility to record programs.

But beware, as far as recordings are concerned, only 10 hours of recording are available in the cloud for Freebox Revolution subscribers, compared to 100 hours for Freebox Pop and Delta subscribers.
