This summer, the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is organizing a night show entitled Lux Salina. From July 21 to August 15, 2022, several performances will be given in this prestigious setting and the public will be able to experience a spectacular immersion in a world of images, sounds and lights projected on the facades of the monument.
A spectacular event
New for the summer of 2022, Lux Salina is a large-scale image, sound and light show, organized in the exceptional setting of the Royal Salt Works of Arc-et-Senans.
This show retraces the different periods of the history and life of the Royal Saltworks from the 18th century to the present day.
This immersion in the prolific and genius thinking of its architect Claude-Nicolas Ledoux includes seven 'tableaux' of real or imaginary images: prestige, work, destruction, liberation, renewal, the future and the secret of the saltworks.
Each picture combines very large animated images, light effects, music from the 18th century to today and a 'salt caravan' composed of 150 extras. Lux Salina retraces the historical periods of the Royal Saltworks from the 18th century to the present day.
Lux Salina is a luminous and sonorous fresco paced by film music composer Bruno Coulais..
This show conceived by the Spectaculaires company, in the form of seven living tableaux directed by Dominique Landucci, will be presented during several summer evenings, in July and August 2022.
The Lux Salina show is held at the Royal Salt Works of Arc-et-Senans from July 21 to August 15, 2022.
