Regards Miroirs: An Exhibition By Nikos Aliagas At The Seine Musicale

The TV host Nikos Aliagas is also a photography enthusiast. He unveils his brand new exhibition entitled Regards Miroirs at the Seine Musicale. Don't miss this free exhibition which features portraits of stars.

A (re)known photographer

Viewers are of course familiar with Nikos Aliagas as the host of entertainment shows like The Voice on TF1.

But did you know that, behind this face so familiar on the small screen, is also a passionate photographer?

Nikos, who has already exhibited his photos on the roof of the Grande Arche de la Défense and on the gates of the Hôtel de Ville de Paris, unveils his latest exhibition entitled Regards Miroirs at the Seine Musicale.

Unpublished portraits of stars

In the field of photography, Nikos Aliagas became known for his black and white portraits.

Even though his job as a presenter brings him into daily contact with music and television stars, most of his shots are portraits of anonymous people.

Nevertheless, as part of the Regards Miroirs exhibition at the Seine Musicale, it is unpublished portraits of French and international artists that are put forward.

A staging... and music

The Seine Musicale, located on the Seguin Island in Boulogne-Billancourt, is a performance hall. But it also develops a whole cultural program in parallel to its shows and concerts.

The exhibition Regards Miroirs by Nikos Aliagas, accessible for free, is the next event not to be missed.

Indeed, you will be able to discover about thirty large-format paper prints exhibited inside the building and a video broadcasted on the giant screen of the forecourt of the Seine Musicale.

Lasting 15 minutes, this video is broadcast on an LED screen of more than 800 square meters. In addition to being spectacular, it is accompanied by original music improvised by Ibrahim Maalouf and his orchestra Free Spirit Ensemble.

It highlights, to the rhythm of the music, over 100 photographs of French and international artists, such as musicians Grand Corps Malade, Joey Starr and Alicia Keys and actors Jean-Claude Van Damme or Laetitia Casta.

As always, Nikos' shots are in black and white. Most of them focus on the intensity of the looks, as the title of the exhibition suggests, but some images also show the hands of the artists Nikos has met and photographed.
