Ingredients
- - 4 chicken thighs
- - 1 large onion
- - 1 tablespoon of mustard
- - 100 g of sour cream
- - 400 g of button mushrooms
- - 1 tablespoon of chicken stock
- - 1 chicken broth cube
- - 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- - 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- - 50 g of butter
- - olive oil
- - 2 carrots
- - 2 bay leaves
Preparation
1. In a Dutch oven, mix the butter with the olive oil to create a base about 2 cm deep.
2. Place the chicken thighs and brown them well on both sides before removing them.
3. Meanwhile, slice the onion until translucent. Then add it to the juices in the Dutch oven with the mustard and sour cream.
4. In 500 ml of water, mix the chicken stock with the chicken broth cube, then incorporate it into the Dutch oven. Thicken with the cornstarch.
5. Add the mushrooms, carrots, and bay leaves. Return the chicken thighs to the Dutch oven and let simmer on low heat, covered, for 45 minutes. Remember to season with salt and pepper to taste.
