Ingredients
- - 1 white cabbage
- - 2 packs of bacon
- - 4 to 6 potatoes, depending on size
- - 1.5 sticks of Kub Or for 1 liter of water
Preparation
1. Start by cutting the cabbage into quarters and remove the central ribs.
2. Wash and then slice each quarter into thin strips.
3. Peel the potatoes, wash them, and then cook them in unsalted water.
4. Dissolve one stick of Kub Or in the hot water.
5. In a cast iron skillet, sauté the bacon until it is nicely browned. Then add the cabbage strips, mix everything and incorporate a quarter of the broth.
6. Stir occasionally, gradually adding the broth, for about forty minutes of cooking.
7. Finally, fold in the cooked potatoes into the cabbage and bacon mixture, about fifteen minutes before the end of cooking.
