Ingredients

  • - 1.5 kg of ripe white (or black) grapes
  • - 800 g of cane sugar
  • - 200 ml of fresh apple juice
  • - The juice of one large juicy lemon

Preparation


1. Gently wash the grapes, making sure to remove any that are not in good condition, then immerse them in a jam pan with 200 ml of water.

2. To burst the grapes, bring to a boil while monitoring. The grapes should burst but not cook completely.

3. Once the grapes have burst, remove them with a slotted spoon. Then gradually incorporate the sugar, along with the added juices.

4. Reduce the heat and let cook for about 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. Feel free to skim if necessary.

6. Continue cooking for about 45 more minutes, then jar the jam immediately after cooking.
