Since their creation in 2008, the Nuits Photographiques de Pierrevert have become the summer rendezvous for photography enthusiasts in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Sponsored by renowned names in the field, this photo festival offers three days and three nights of exhibitions and image screenings.

A friendly festival

Because the quality of programming does not prevent friendliness, the Nuits Photographiques de Pierrevert have made these two characteristics their main assets.

This festival was founded in 2008 in this small village perched in the Luberon by a group of local enthusiasts. As its name suggests, it consists of three days and three nights dedicated to the image.

Not only do exhibitions take place in various locations in the village, but screenings are organized every night on a giant screen to showcase the work of new talents. These promising artists are selected by a jury following a call for applications.

After the success of the first edition, sponsored by Peter Knapp, this event has been repeated every year under the approving eye of prestigious sponsors: Oliviero Toscani, Steve Hiett, Hans Feurer, Jean Daniel Lorieux, and Sacha van Dorssen.

This year, the event will extend to the agglomeration of Manosque with the exhibition of Hans silvester at the Carzou Foundation.
