Dream Team: The Next Generation Of Stars: 5 Good Reasons To Watch The Tf1 Show

Starting Friday, January 19, TF1 will air a prime-time entertainment show that's a cross between The Voice Kids and Junior Eurovision. We've listed for you 5 good reasons to watch this new program, hosted by Hélène Mannarino.

To pass the time before the Star Academy finale.

While the Star Academy's ratings are smashing records and the grand finale of season 11 is set to air on February 3, 2024, TF1 is launching a new music program. This entertainment, highlighting young talents and French song, will help you bide your time.

With the program Dream Team: The Next Generation of Stars, the channel offers a format similar to The Voice Kids but shorter. In this show, 6 renowned Francophone artists will coach young singers aged 8 to 14 years old. Each coach has a team of 5 children to join them on stage and try to win the competition. Throughout the contest, the teams compete in duels and are judged by a jury.

Despite undeniable similarities, this new concept is not a mere copy-paste of The Voice Kids: the musical competition lasts only two weeks and the mechanics of the show are different, as is the way each "team" is composed.

To enjoy different artistic universes.

As its title "Dream Team: The Next Generation of Stars" suggests, this new show is based on the idea that the next generation of Francophone music stars is already secured!

In this entertainment program, the five children who make up a team are all fans of their coach and share the same musical and artistic universe as their mentor.

The 6 coaches of the show are renowned artists, representing different artistic worlds. The 30 singers, aged 8 to 14, have mentors Lara Fabian, Claudio Capéo, Black M, Camille Lellouche, Matt Pokora, and Jenifer.

3- To discover a concept made in France.

Unlike The Voice, which is an international format adapted in many countries, Dream Team: the next generation of stars is a French creation. TF1's latest musical competition show highlights French and francophone songs. This entertainment program features prominent figures from the francophone music scene as mentors or jury members, showcasing the French language and talents from France.

Considering the performances of the young artists, the future of French song looks bright. There is no doubt that the next generation is ready!

To admire the performances of young singers.

Whether you're a fan of The Voice Kids on TF1 or Prodiges on France 2, you won't be disappointed by the young singers of Dream Team: the next generation of stars!

Like other junior musical competitions, TF1's new show reveals astonishing young singers. They are under 15 years old but prove that talent doesn't wait for the years to pass.

Some of these singing virtuosos have already been through The Voice Kids or the Junior Eurovision. Although the show was filmed last spring, long before she won her title, one of the teams even includes the latest winner of the Junior Eurovision, Zoé.

These budding artists, whether you've seen them before or not, will impress you with their mastery of vocal technique and the subtlety of their interpretation. Indeed, the young generation is going to put on a show on Friday nights on TF1!

5- To follow (or not) the jury's opinion.

To judge such talented children, it was of course necessary to assemble a panel of experts. At each stage of Dream Team: The Next Generation of Stars, music professionals and the audience on set vote for their favorite performance.

The jury responsible for deciding between the teams consists of Anggun, Lorie Pester, Chris Marquez, and Michael Jones. At the end of this unique musical competition, only one team will be declared the grand winner of the show, on Friday, January 26th.

If you think this new show is too short, you can take solace by watching The Voice! The famous singing competition will return to TF1 in February, with an impressive jury made up of Zazie, Vianney, Mika, and Bigflo & Oli!
