- Servings: for 1.5 liters
Ingredients
- - 1 bottle of good red or white Bordeaux wine
- - 1 kg of sugar
- - 400 g of ripe and juicy raspberries.
Preparation
1. Start by removing the stems from the raspberries (be careful, do not wash them, as this helps to retain all the fruit's aroma).
2. In a large mixing bowl, let the raspberries macerate with the wine for 24 hours in a cool place.
3. Then, strain the mixture using a sieve, gently pressing the fruit to extract as much juice as possible.
4. Pour the obtained juice into a stainless-steel saucepan, add the sugar, and bring it to a boil while stirring frequently.
5. Once the mixture has cooled, filter it through a coffee filter and transfer it into bottles which you will seal tightly (don't forget to wash and sanitize them beforehand).
