The International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories organized in Hyères is a springboard for young creators in the fields of fashion and photography. Two international competitions reward young talents who may be the big names of tomorrow.
A springboard for young talents.
The International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories has been organized in Hyères, Var for over 30 years. It takes place every year in the privileged setting of Villa Noailles, a century-old villa with modernist architecture.
This festival, directed by Jean-Pierre Blanc, allows for the discovery of about ten young fashion designers and an equal number of photographers, selected through two international competitions.
Since its creation in 1985, several hundred debut collections have been presented in Hyères by young designers from around the world. Since the festival opened to photography in 1997, the works of dozens of young photographers have been exhibited there.
A festival open to all.
Fashion Trends Observatory, the Hyères Festival attracts an increasingly large audience of designers, industry professionals, trend forecasters, agents, gallery owners, museum directors, and distribution offices...
But the International Festival of Fashion, Photography, and Accessories is also an event open to the public. The public is invited to fully participate in the competition. Not only are the fashion shows free for them to attend, but they can also vote to award the "Audience Prize".
Exhibitions, also free of charge, are offered beyond the festival dates. The entire festival program (exhibitions, showrooms, masterclasses, concerts, and performances) is free and does not require reservations.
Edition 2023
The 38th Hyères Festival takes place from October 12th to 15th, 2023 at Villa Noailles and other locations in the city.
Highlights of this fashion, photography, and accessories festival include fashion shows by young designers, exhibitions, and award ceremonies.
The festival opens today, Thursday, October 12th, with the opening ceremony starting at 4:30 PM. The program includes a DJ set, a surprise concert, and the screening of a documentary until the closing of Villa Noailles at 9 PM.
