The Promenades Photographiques: A Photo Festival In Blois.

The Blois Photographic Walks aim to surprise the public and make them discover new and unseen images. Renowned photographers rub shoulders with unknown foreign photographers in France and undiscovered talents.

Introduction

The Promenades Photographiques have been bringing together unpublished, accessible and meaningful photographic works for several years in Blois, Ménars, Saint-Dyé-sur-Loire, Mer and Mont-près-Chambord, in the Loir-et-Cher region.

This festival, which offers a glimpse into a dream world, reserves surprises and discoveries for its audience every year. Indeed, its programming exclusively offers never-before-seen works.

It also has the particularity of being open to all and completely free.

The festival highlights.

The Promenades Photographiques transform the city of Blois into an open-air gallery every year, offering about twenty exhibitions throughout the city. This festival also provides a real reflection on the image through conferences and invites photographers to meet their audience. Finally, the Mark Grosset Prize rewards a student from international higher education institutions of photography every year.

Edition 2023 translates to "2023 Edition" in English.

The 2023 edition of the Promenades Photographiques de Blois will take place from June 30th to August 30th, 2023.

"E pur si muove..." will be the theme and common thread of this edition, which will feature around twenty exhibitions throughout the city.

Among them, Brassaï's photographs of Paris at night are announced as the flagship exhibition of this festival.

Other exhibited photographers will include Chema Madoz, Bernard Demenge, Bertrand Desprez, Emmanuel Pierrot, Delphine Blast, Alexa Brunet, Aurélien Goubau, Joris Degas, Brodbeck and De Barbuat, Laurent Laborie, Maxime Riché, Jérémy Lempin, Marc Simon, Edouard Elias, and Myop.

You will also be able to see the work of international photography schools.

Initiation workshops for children, teenagers, and vulnerable audiences will also be organized.
