The Boutographies: Montpellier Photographic Encounters
The Boutographies are photographic meetings aimed at bringing photography to the widest audience. Each year, around twenty European photographers find an opportunity to exhibit, win over the Montpellier public, and share their vision of photography with other photographers.
Presentation
The Boutographies or Photographic Meetings of Montpellier have been organized since May 2001 by the Grain d'Image association.
Initially set up in the heart of the Boutonnet district, this event now occupies the most beautiful exhibition venues in the city of Montpellier to the delight of photographers, partners, and the public.
Since their inception in 2001, nearly 90 photographers have exhibited their snapshots as part of these photographic meetings.
2009 Edition
The Montpellier Photographic Encounters provide an opportunity for the participating artists to display their works in contact with the public and other professionals.
The Boutographies 2009 program features thirteen European photographers, predominantly Italian and French, dealing with a wide variety of subjects.

Practical information
The 2024 edition of the Boutographies, Montpellier's Photographic Meetings, will take place from May 4 to 26.
