Pop Air: A Playful And Colorful Exhibition At La Villette

For the Pop Air exhibition, the Grande Halle de la Villette was transformed into a playful universe of bright colors and gigantic shapes. This event, conceived in collaboration with the Balloon Museum of Rome, invites you to discover the inflated works of about fifteen international artists.

Live a colorful experience

After having met a great success in the Eternal City, the Pop Air exhibition settles for a few months in Paris and metamorphoses the Grande Halle de la Villette into a fantastic playground.

This large-scale exhibition, which was realized in collaboration with the Balloon Museum of Rome, features inflatable art or inflatable art on a surface of more than 5000 m2.

This joyful, colorful and monumental art form pushes the boundaries of the imagination. Very much in vogue at the moment, it is a good way to introduce children to art while offering an entertaining outing for the whole family.

Lined with brightly colored works and unusual shapes, this immersive art project invites you to live a playful experience, quite different from a traditional museum visit!

Immerse yourself in imaginary worlds

The Pop Air exhibition presents the work of fifteen international artists and invites you to a never-before-seen journey into the world of inflatable art.

The monumental works, each more inflated than the last, are offered to the eye from the entrance of the Great Hall, which for the occasion takes on the appearance of Wonderland.

The inflatable structures impress by their dimensions (like a 6-meter high fountain), their bright colors and their immersive character.

You will be able to dive into a huge ball Pool from which lights, movements and sounds come from, or get lost in the labyrinthine universe of a spider sculpture.

You'll lose your bearings in front of a psychedelic vision created with a hundred colored spheres suspended between dozens of mirrors.

Finally, you'll fall back into childhood in William Forsythe's White Bouncy Castle, an American artist-choreographer who welcomes visitors to bounce, fall and feel their bodies in a huge bouncy castle, to the rhythm of heady music.

You will have understood, this playful exhibition that plunges you into a world entirely conceived from inflatable materials, is an experience that you will not soon forget!
