The Nordic Center Of Boréon: Skiing, Snowshoeing And Ice Climbing In The Boréon

A real paradise for cross-country skiers and lovers of climbing or snowshoeing, the Boréon Nordic Center is the largest Nordic activity center in the Alpes Maritimes. An essential site for families and sportsmen.

A unique site in the Alpes Maritimes

Near the village of Saint-Martin-Vésubie, about 72 km from Nice, is the largest Nordic activity center in the Alpes Maritimes.

The Centre nordique du Boréon, located at the gates of the Parc national du mercantour between 1500 and 1800 meters of altitude, invites you to practice outdoor sports in an enchanting setting.

With family or friends, you can go for a walk on snowshoes, practice cross-country skiing or measure yourself against an artificial Icefall!

Activities for all tastes

Throughout the winter season, the Centre nordique du Boréon opens its doors to lovers of skiing and winter sports.

The center has more than 20 km of double-tracked Nordic skiing, skateboarding and classic trails. It has 4 trails for all levels (1 green, 1 blue, 1 red and 1 black).

It also offers:
- 3 snowshoe itineraries (18 km in all)
- 1 4-sided Ice Tower 15 meters high to practice Ice Climbing in free practice or with supervision by a high-mountain guide
- 1 DVA park (Avalanche Victim Detector) to practice using the Avalanche Victim Detector and become aware of the risks of the mountain.

To note: it is possible to rent equipment and eat on site. The opening of the slopes, Nordic itineraries and the Tour de Glace can be modified at any time depending on the Avalanche Risk and weather conditions.

The Centre Nordique du Boréon will open on Saturday December 16, 2022 (subject to weather and snow conditions).
