Following the model of the famous Arles festival, western Paris has decided to launch its own summer photography event. This event, called "Festival du regard," invites photographers from around the world to exhibit in unique and historical locations. Michael Kenna, Li Wei, Yang Yi, Masao Yamamoto, Vee Speers, Algis Griskevicius, and many other major photographers from the contemporary scene have responded and are presenting exclusive exhibitions for the occasion.
The Festival du regard is emerging as the new photographic event in the western Parisian region.
The ambition of its organizers is to offer a high-quality photo festival of international scale, capable of attracting a wide audience in unconventional exhibition venues.

The 8th edition of the Festival du Regard takes place from October 10 to December 15, 2024 in Cergy Pontoise (95). This year, the theme of the festival is Animal, a broad subject allowing exploration of areas ranging from wildlife photography to conceptual photography.
Internationally renowned photographers have responded positively for exclusive, individual or collective exhibitions.
