Turkey and carrot stir-fry is a light, springtime dish that's pretty simple to make with ingredients from the cupboard. Here are some pictures of this easy recipe. This simmered dish, to be served with the side dish of your choice, will be a hit with young and old alike.

Ingredients

Here are the ingredients needed to make Carrot Turkey Stir-Fry for 4 people:

500 g turkey stir-fry
6 medium carrots
2 to 3 tablespoons of olive oil
5 cl of white wine
3 tablespoons of parsley
1 tablespoon of flour
salt and pepper

To note: for an even more flavorful and spring-like dish, I recommend using young carrot tops. If you wish, you can also garnish this carrot turkey stir-fry with button mushrooms.

Preparation of the ingredients

To make this turkey and carrot stir-fry, start by preparing the vegetables.

1- Peel and wash the carrots and cut them into thin slices.

2- If you don't have ready-made parsley, prepare it yourself by chopping together a clove of garlic and a small bunch of flat parsley.

3- If necessary, cut the pieces of meat into cubes of about 2 cm on each side.

Cooking the turkey

You can cook this turkey and carrot stir-fry in a sauté pan or casserole dish.

1- Heat the casserole over high heat and add the olive oil.

2- Fry the turkey pieces for about 10 minutes, until the meat is browned on all sides.

3- Add salt and pepper.

Preparation of the stir-fry

1- When the meat is well browned, add the carrot slices and sauté for a few minutes, stirring constantly.

2- Lower the heat. Add the spoonful of flour and mix well, then deglaze with the white wine.

3- Heat water in a kettle and top up with warm water to cover the ingredients as shown in the photo below.

4- Add the parsley last, then cover the pot.

5- Simmer the turkey and carrot stir-fry on low heat for about 45 minutes.

Please note: the cooking time depends on the size of the meat pieces. Check the turkey and carrots for doneness by poking them with the tip of a knife.
